Christmas in July!
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is like Christmas in July! We love this sale and have looked forward to it for years. Over the years we’ve made an event out of going to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale with our daughters.
What’s the Big Deal?
The big deal is that while most sales discount current season’s items, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale features new, not-yet-released fall items at roughly a 40% discount. Once the sale is over, items return to the original price.
Favorites from Past Sales
Footwear: We’ve both found some awesome footwear, including Sperry rain boots, Sorel boots, Steward Weitzman boots, Blondo waterproof booties, AGL shoes, Tory Burch flip flops, FitFlops, Hunter boots and Nike sneakers.

Designer: Rag & Bone jeans/sweaters/long-sleeved shirts, Veronica Beard jacket/jeans, Frame, AG and Paige jeans, Alice & Olivia dress and a James Perse knit jacket.
Apparel: In addition to designer options, there are so many other choices. For the younger crowd, Topshop is a great choice, plus you can find great offerings from brands like Treasure & Bond, Free People, Caslon, Halogen and more.
Handbags: Chloe, Tory Burch, MCM and a Rebecca MInkoff Backpack.
Misc: Zella workout (especially the high-waisted leggings), Barefoot Dreams sweaters and throws, pajamas, bras and socks.
Personal Stylists
Nordstrom offers the services of personal stylists at no additional charge. You can schedule an appointment and they will pre-select options for your consideration. My daughters love this service and I find it hit or miss, depending on the stylist. If you find a stylist you connect well with, it makes for an excellent experience!

We will be sharing our faves from this year’s sale! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is in pre-sale right now, which means you can shop it if you have a Nordstrom credit card through July 18, depending on your status. After July 18, the sale is open to all. Shopping online is a great option, as the selection is better than it is in many of Nordstrom’s smaller stores.
