Why a Blog?
We started this journey because we both enjoy writing and we thought many of our peers might be in a life stage where they are talking and/or thinking about some of the same topics. We envisioned it as an exchange of ideas and experiences.
Analytics
Not surprisingly, analytics tells how how many people we reach and how many people click on a post… not who clicks on a post, so don’t panic! We’ve learned that many of you seem to take a look at our posts but don’t necessarily click on one of the seven emoji choices or comment. We would so appreciate your feedback, comments and suggestions!

We don’t make money from our blog; in fact, we pay to have our blog. When we include links to products, we do make a tiny commission if you choose to purchase through our links (which doesn’t impact your price of the product) but it’s truly tiny and doesn’t come close to offsetting our costs. We truly didn’t embark on this journey to build a business.
