The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is on! These boots — and sneakers, booties, sandals, and slippers — were made for walking, and that’s just what they’ll do. (In case you’re not old enough to know, that’s an awesome song by Nancy Sinatra.)
Early access for Nordstrom’s card holders is from July 12-18, and the sale opens to the public after that. This sale features fall items, marked down now for a limited time. After the sale the prices return to their full price. The shoes are terrific this year. Here are some of our early shoe favorites from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year.

Gentle Souls Signature Colleen Espadrille Wedge
This wedge is so comfortable and cute! The strap around the ankle is stretchy, so it fits perfectly, has some give, and doesn’t rub. (Click on the picture for a link to price and purchase information.)
Here’s a real-life picture of me trying it on. You can tell it is really me by the scar above my ankle where I ran into the open dishwasher. I have a matching one of the other leg, because I do that a lot.
I actually bought two pairs of this shoe I loved it so much. I got the black and the beige:
Sofft Malindi Sandal
The heel is just high enough to look a little dressy, but low enough to be comfortable. I love the red (pictured above), but I needed black.
State Kaleb Bootie
This bootie is so attractive! I think it will look great with jeans, but will also be terrific paired with a skirt or dress. I got the “pebble” color, above (click on the picture of pricing and purchase link), but I love it in the snake as well.
Sperry Saltwater Waterproof Rain Boot
I didn’t buy this boot this year, but I did buy it at the Anniversary Sale two years ago, and have definitely gotten my money out of it. It is one of my favorite boots, even if it is not raining. It is so comfortable and is really cute with jeans. I love it so much I wrote a whole post just about this shoe: Splish Splash — Favorite Rain Bootie.
Blondo Nina Waterproof Suede Boot
This is a really rich looking suede, and it’s waterproof. I don’t own this particular shoe, but I have a different Blondo leather boot, and it is really waterproof. I wore it recently while traveling and it rained every day. I was so thankful that I had thrown these in my bag at the last minute. I was the only one in my family with warm dry feet.
UGG Scuffette II Slipper
This is the slipper you want to put on after a long day of shopping at the Anniversary Sale. We got this one for my daughter, and it will be perfect for college life.
