In our stage of life, with adult children, family time is so valuable and treasured. If you have the opportunity to plan an experience with the family, that will likely mean more than any tangible gift.
Day on the Lake— rent a boat (unless you already have one) and spend the day together on a lake.
Weekend trip– Meet somewhere or go somewhere for a weekend; rent a cabin, explore a new area or return to one you’ve all loved.
Cooking class– Schedule a cooking class if Dad likes food and/or cooking.
Top Golf– If he’s a golfer, Dad might enjoy an outing here.
BBQ and Breweries— Enjoy a meal at his favorite BBQ restaurant and follow it up with stops at local brew pubs.
