Are Dyson hair products worth the hefty price tag? I say absolutely! And we don’t
Late to the Party
Introduced in 2018, I remember seeing it and thinking the price was ridiculous. I immediately dismissed it and moved on.
Fast forward to about six months ago when my friends Melissa and Erin were raving about it, both animated when describing its life-changing features. I looked at it at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and there was a representative doing demos of the product. Eager to see how it worked in person, I approached her to see it in action. Sadly there was a power malfunction and it wasn’t working. I took that as a sign and moved on.
Hairdresser Endorsed
When we moved to Austin and I found a new salon, the hairdresser used it to dry and style my hair. I was amazed at how easy it was and she explained that it doesn’t damage your hair like most heat-based products. She also told me that Costco had recently introduced a version with the dryer, the brush and one airwrap wand. Rather than the usual $599 price, Costco’s version (still a Dyson product) was $399. I took the plunge and haven’t looked back!
Adult Daughter Endorsed
Both of my girls tried it when they were home for the holidays and loved it. They both would love to have one. And they have different hair, as do my friends who originally recommended it. It seems to work for everyone.
Here are some examples of the finished product after using the airwrap:
Where to Buy
You can buy direct from Dyson and they often offer refurbished models. Sometimes the large department stores offer discounts/include them in promotions. If you’re interested, keep an eye out for these discounts to at least get a little break on the price.
Costco doesn’t appear to have the version I purchased, but it may come back. They do have a hairdryer.
Do you use a Dyson hair product? Do you love it as much as I do?!
